The goal of this design is to expand on the idea from Lazlo Moholy-Nagy that word and image are not separate elements originating from different domains but that both type and image are made of the same material. Also studying work of April Greiman, this design displays how digital tools have enabled new possibilities for the merging of word and image.

After expanding on these ideas, I came up with the idea to create something with shredded paper and water. After experimenting and researching I decided to create a movie poster for the film "Plastic Paradise," which is a documentary about the Great Pacific Garbage Patch.
